Agitation and Offense – A Prayer for Your Child on the Autism Spectrum

For God is not a God of disorder but of peace.

1 CORINTHIANS 14:33

O God, Author of Peace,

I lift up this gift in my life, (child’s name), and ask that You drive all chaos and disorder out of his body, mind, soul, will, and spirit and replace them with beautiful peace authored by Your Holy Spirit. Totally free him (her) from easy agitation and offense that can often become magnified and evolve into full-blown meltdowns which bring pain and destruction to his (her) life and into our homes. I see in Your Word that You healed and had compassion on all who came to You for healing [Matthew 8:16], and I take Your Word as truth above what I see with my eyes. I seek and reach towards You asking for healing for my child from easy agitation and offense caused by his (her) inability to process things appropriately. Rebuke these afflictions and restore calm to him (her) in every way. It’s in Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

He Healed Them ALL

“Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner,” (John 5:19).

Jesus only did what He saw the Father do, so He healed every kind of sickness and every kind of disease, every kind of disability, even if they were born that way.
