Autism Healing and Deliverance

ONE.

Unbelief. His children often have faith but what they struggle with is unbelief.

So, what is unbelief? For unbelievers, it’s outright rejecting Jesus as Lord. For believers, it’s outright rejecting His Word, refusing to take Him for His Word, or magnifying circumstances above God and what His Word says.

One demonstrates that he/she has faith by praying to Him and asking Him to heal us, but is double-minded in all his/her ways because soon after is demonstrating every point of unbelief. This can also be caused by attending churches that teach man-made doctrines based on unbelief and not God’s Word (e.g. Those that teach that healing is not for today or those who only pray for healing like, “If it be God’s will,” a totally unbiblical way to pray about healing. Biblical ways to pray for healing.

Read Matthew 13:58; and Numbers 13:30-33; 14:Numbers 14:20-24 for examples of unbelief and note that God considers unbelief (not taking Him at His Word) as rejecting Him personally because He is the Word and equates Himself with it fully and exactly – John 1:1;14. For believers this of course doesn’t mean loss of salvation because that’s impossible – Hebrews 10:14.

TWO.

Not knowing the Word for oneself. For example, “Why did prophecies say Jesus would come as Messiah? What did Jesus say about Himself and how He represented God’s will for us in the earth? And what did He do to fulfill those prophecies?

Answers:

Isaiah 35:4-6, “Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God;  He will come and save you.” Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then the lame shall leap like a deer, And the tongue of the mute sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert.”

Isaiah 53:4-6, “Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”

John 14:9, “He who has seen Me has seen the Father.” Jesus is the “brightness of His glory and the express image of His person” (Hebrews 1:3). 

Jesus came to save the lost and and heal us spiritually and physically from sickness and disease, and we see Him doing just that all throughout the gospels, never denying one person. And when He does these things – saves and heals the sick – He tells us if you’ve seen Me, You’ve seen the Father, and I AM the express image or perfect representation of the Father – His love, His will, His character, etc. Again, Jesus healed ALL and only did good and only loosed people from the oppression of sickness placed on them by the devil.

THREE.

Not knowing from the Word that it’s His will to heal all and heal all diseases. Many examples in the gospels and the Word for you to study where Jesus, the representation of God’s perfect will, healed all and heals all our diseases, but here’s one in Acts 10:38, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”

FOUR.

Attributing sickness to and blaming God for it instead of the works of the devil which Jesus came to destroy. But where does God say sickness is from?

Acts 10:38, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing ALL who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” 

Luke 13:16, “So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?”

1 John 3:8, “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” 

So, we see clearly that Jesus refers to sickness as a work of the devil (oppression, bound by Satan), and what did He come in the flesh to do? Destroy them. Again, which includes sickness.

FIVE.

Not understanding what, “Jesus took upon Himself and fully redeemed His children from what’s considered ALL the curse of the law,” and its relationship with sickness. Sickness is part of the curse of the law, so God doesn’t put sickness of us because of Jesus who took it all for us. Read Deuteronomy 28 to see all Jesus took upon Himself that’s considered a curse (including sickness).

SIX.

Making sickness one’s identifying by constantly talking about it and allowing a sickness/physical affliction to become rooted as person’s main identity instead of Christ and speaking and taking God’s Word about one’s identity and what He says about healing. Can be especially true with diseases like autism or neuroimmune disorders because they affect behaviors and affect personality. But if we recall that these disorders are manifestations of brain/gut inflammation, brain/gut disorders, brain/gut damage, we are not going to go around referring to our child as, “Hello, brain inflammation, how are you today?”

We don’t call a person afflicted with cancer, cancer-istic, so we must not make autism, etc. our child’s identity just because it affects their behaviors and personality. No person’s identity is a sickness AKA no person’s identity is a work of the devil. Ponder this revelation to help your faith.

SEVEN.

Learning and believing false teachings about healing and then not checking the Word for oneself to see if what one is being taught is the truth. For example, Paul’s thorn in the flesh. Pastors and teachers of the Word have substituted everything under the sun for that thorn. Learn the truth here that the thorn was a demonic spirit “messenger” working through people to persecute him by trying to undo the gospel everywhere he went. It was not sickness.

EIGHT.

Literally not wanting to be healed. In John 5:6 Jesus says, “Do you want to be made well?” In this case in the Word, the man said yes, but sometimes people don’t want to be healed and have made sickness their identity. It’s their free will choice whether or not they take God for His Word for healing. It’s not for us to judge or try to convince them otherwise. BUT they shouldn’t criticize those who do desire take God for His Word and for healing. But don’t get into arguments in them. Just bless them, move on, and cease from sharing your desire for healing with them

NINE.

Not willing to consider that all or part of a sickness may be a spirit of infirmity or unclean spirit. Luke 13:16, “And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.” Mark 7:25, “For a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit heard about Him, and she came and fell at His feet.” Mark 9:25, “When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!” 

TEN.

Creating one’s own “doctrine” regarding healing based on personal experiences, what they see, or statistics and outcomes of others with the same/similar condition. We walk by faith and not by sight. By His Word not by what we see. Some lower their faith expectations to what they see, experience, what other’s have experienced in the natural, or doctors’ reports, etc. instead of raising their faith up to His Word (as above) and allow it to tell their faith what to do.

If you are believing God for healing, I strongly suggest guarding your heart and being careful with whom you share your healing prayer requests with because the current, lukewarm church is steeped in unbelief and false / perverted teachings of the gospel/Word. 

Humbly, all of this teaching is from the Holy Spirit leading me into all truth (John 16:13) after He led me to do a doctrine wash of all the wring teachings I’d received in churches.

P.S. People do get healed based on the faith of others which is also in the Word but not what this post is about.
