If “Wind Beneath My Wings” was a Christian Song

IF WIND BENEATH MY WINGS WAS A CHRISTIAN SONG

About a year ago or so, I came across a church name called, House of Heroes, and it has greatly impacted me every since. Heroes for Jesus is exactly what we are called to be in this lost and dying world. He says we are cities on a hill, His ambassadors, His co-laborers, His very body. Inspired by the Word and the name of the church above, I wrote these lyrics.

God’s people are not called to be passive but active doers of the Word who are passionate about setting captives free. I pray these words bless and encourage you.

The original, “Wind Beneath My Wings” (sometimes titled “The Wind Beneath My Wings” and “Hero”) is a song written in 1982 by Jeff Silbar and Larry Henley.1
