Father, You are the best ever! Always encouraging me on the path I walk with you. He just fueled my faith – BIG TIME – with further confirmation and fire for my faith regarding the prayer book He led me to write:
I was inspired to title it with HEAD TO TOE healing based on Joshua 1:3 which says, “Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.” And true to its title, the book contains 31 head to toe targeted prayers of petition paired with 31 prayers of authority to “tread upon” the land of your child’s body for total healing from autism and other similar neuroimmune disorders like PANDAS.
Well, silly wabbit me, I didn’t do a deep search on the root meaning of each word. Especially, the word “tread.” Just finished listening to a word of encouragement from Dutch Sheets where God just used him to blow my mind once more and bring me to tears.
The root meaning of “tread” has to do with battle. Not merely walking the land. And from Dutch Sheet’s video, I just learned that it was the Lord saying to Joshua, “Every place you are willing to go in and fight for, take your weapons, follow Me in the battle, deal with these giants, and fight, and I will give it to you. In other words, “Is God giving or are we taking?” Yes, the answer is, “Yes.” God is saying its yours. You gotta go take this. You go take it, and I’m going to empower you. I’m going to give you the strategy that will win. We will get you this land. I’m promising you. But you still have to go fight.”
And as we know from the Word, Joshua and the children of Israel battled through 31 kings and the people under them to take the land the Lord had already given them.
Just like 1 Peter 2:24 says, “By His stripes, we were healed.” Were because we already have healing, He already carried all our infirmities, but we must receive what’s already ours by prayers of FAITH and using our authority Jesus purchased for us with His blood to speak to mountains in our children’s bodies and telling them to go in Jesus’ name. Thank You, Lord Jesus!
EXCERPT FROM MY BOOK WHERE THE LORD GAVE ME THIS POWERFUL PROPHETIC WORD I BASED MY BOOK ON
“A Powerful Revelation Regarding the Head to Toe Prayers in this Book
The Lord gave me a beautiful revelation which is how I came up with the section title “Retake the Land.” While I was praying for my son, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “You need to use My authority to take back the land.” By the Spirit, I knew He meant, “The land of your son’s body.” Then He brought the following verse to my remembrance, “Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses” (Joshua 1:3). “I have given you,” the Lord said. He’d already given the land to them, referring to the Promised Land. But they had to demonstrate that they took Him for His Word by physically walking the land and defeating all their enemies in it in order to receive what was already theirs. This is a picture of what the promises of God (His will) and prayer are like. In this case, a picture of the spiritual battle praying for healing for our children can be.
Immediately, He gave me understanding that I am to use my blood-bought authority in Jesus’ name and as a daughter of the King to not only petition Him but also pray offensively for my son’s healing. To take back his body from sickness, disease, and the powers of the enemy. His still, small voice said to me, “With every prayer, you are covering your son’s body, treading upon him from head to toe with My healing Word and promises. What I have already given You, Christ’s finished work which includes healing, you will have if you pray, don’t give up, and believe to receive it by faith.”
As a child of God, you have the authority Jesus purchased to pray and speak His life-giving promises and blessings over your child and see incredible changes and answers to prayer. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Proverbs 18:21). God says, “Speak the life of My Word to your child.”
The book of Joshua gives us a powerful revelation about prayer and the promises of God. Often, His promises are not automatic and don’t come easily because we are in a spiritual battle. This should give us great hope. Just because there is resistance, obstacles, and “enemies and giants in the land,” doesn’t mean the answers to our prayers are “no” when we have a promise of God to stand on. It means keep “battling in prayer,” until all the “land” is yours. Until you see the promise of healing manifest before your eyes. And praying the Word of God is the weapon He equipped us with to defeat any and all occupying enemies of your child’s body.
Be reminded that the enemy, that is the devil, battles us every step of the way to get us to give up the prayer fight, reject God’s Word for ourselves, enter into unbelief, and settle for far less than His promises. And that he can use others, even believers, to get us to doubt God. Stay fully armed with His Word to protect your heart and mind from any and all lies of the enemy that try to exalt themselves against it [2 Corinthians 10:5].
Then continue doing what Jesus says, “Pray and never give up,” (Luke 18:1). When Jesus told the disciples these words, He told the story of the persistent widow. She prayed, refused to give up, and received exactly what she asked for.
After I finished writing the thirty-one prayers for this book, the Lord rewarded me with an additional, beautiful revelation regarding, “Retake the Land.” And then a third one during the editing process. Thus, He confirmed this Word to me three times to greatly encourage you and I regarding this spiritual battle to get our children back. I won’t share the additional revelations here now because I want them to be revealed to you in the order in which He gave them to me. You’ll find them following the prayers. I am so excited for you to read them.”
P.S. I had no idea when I crafted 31 prayers with the Holy Spirit’s help that Joshua and the children of Israel also battled 31 kings and the people under them. That was His signature on this work confirming He led me every step of the way. He led me to read Joshua 12:24 as I was finishing up the book and had already finished writing the 31 prayers. How amazing in the Lord! Our Daddy God loves to reveal sweet surprises to us as we obey Him and stay on His path. I praise You, My wonderful Lord.
