Autism Healing and Deliverance

When we examine 1 Corinthians 14:33, “For God is not the author of disorder but of peace,” we encounter a Light that exposes and directly confronts autism spectrum disorder. No other condition so blatantly exalts itself against God’s expressed will for peace and order in our children’s lives. Its symptoms clearly bind and hold captive and cannot in any way be described as peaceful and of His divine intended order for a child’s body, soul, and spirit. The very name – autism spectrum DISORDER – stands in direct opposition to His divine nature, will, and desires for His children.

Agitation and Offense

For God is not a God of disorder but of peace.

1 CORINTHIANS 14:33

Pour, Petition, and Praise

Father,

I lift up this gift, (child’s name), and ask that You drive disorder from him/her and replace it with Your peace [Philippians 4:7]. Totally free him/her from easy agitation, offense, and the inability to process situations appropriately as they can often become magnified and evolve into full-blown meltdowns which bring pain and destruction to his/her life and into our home [Luke 4:18]. Drive misunderstandings far from him/her. Give him/her eyes to see that my every intention toward him/her is good and motivated by love.

Your Word teaches me that You showed mercy and compassion on all who came to You for healing, and You healed them [Matthew 8:16]. I take Your Word as truth above what I see.

I thank You that nothing is too hard for You and that Your name is literally Healer. In the gospels, I see Your great love toward every parent who asked You to heal their child, and You healed them all. Praise You, Lord, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Retake the Land

(Child’s name), I rebuke easy agitation, offense and any spirits of offense operating in your life and our family’s and command them to go. Because rivers of living water flow from me [John 7:38] by the Holy Spirit, I loose life, peace and calm to you right now in Jesus’ name, amen. [end of excerpt from book 2]

This powerful prayer stands on the unshakeable foundation of God’s Word and His promises. When we see our children trapped in cycles of agitation, unable to process changes without meltdowns, and living in a constant state of fight-or-flight, we must remember – this is not God’s will. His will is clear: order and peace! He never intended for our precious ones to be imprisoned by rigid patterns and overwhelming sensory responses that rob them of peace and the abundant life Jesus Christ paid for us to have.

The “Retake the Land” portion of this prayer activates our blood-bought authority in Christ Jesus. We’re not begging God to do something new – we’re enforcing what Jesus already purchased through His finished work on the Cross. By His stripes, our children were healed (1 Peter 2:24). This includes complete deliverance from every symptom of autism spectrum disorder.

Our Father is passionate about setting our children free from every chain of autism spectrum disorder arresting their progress and development. When we align our prayers with His Word and will, believing we receive what we ask (1 John 5:14-15), we position ourselves for breakthrough. The same Jesus who calmed stormy seas can bring perfect peace to our children’s minds, bodies, and emotions.
