Hello, beloveds of God!
The Lord says: Don’t believe the symptoms. Let that sink in. Don’t believe the symptoms! As in don’t put your faith in them. Believe on Jesus Christ and His Word alone.
The enemy will do everything to get you to react to what you see and feel, magnifying the problem above God’s Word. But our foundation is not the enemy’s lies—it’s the unshakable truth of what God has already declared.
Faith That Refuses to Waver
Romans 4:18-22 (NKJV) speaks of Abraham’s faith:
Who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
Abraham considered not his body. He refused to let the reality of his physical condition shake the promise of God. That’s where God is calling us to stand! If we have a Word from the Lord, that’s it. It’s settled.
Isaiah 53 makes it undeniably clear that healing is included in the atonement:
Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows… He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:4-5 NKJV)
Jesus didn’t just pay for sin—He paid for sickness. It’s not for a select few. It’s for all. Healing is a grace-based gift, just like salvation. The same way you received salvation is how you receive healing—by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). In fact, they are both part of the same finished work of Christ. Victory over sin = victory over all manner of sickness!
A Testimony of Faith in Action
Let me share a quick testimony. Years ago, when I was newly born again, I worked in a hospital. A nurse on light duty told me she was struggling with severe vertigo. Right there, in the middle of our department, I laid hands on her and commanded healing in Jesus’ name. I felt the power of God surge through me, but I didn’t stop to ask how she felt—I had work to do.
Two days later, she ran up to me. “When you prayed for me, I was completely healed! The vertigo never came back!”
Glory to God! But what happened to my innocent, undamaged faith? Over time, I allowed the religious doctrines of men—excuses for why people don’t get healed—to poison my belief. The church, instead of strengthening faith, often drowns it in unbelief! But God, in His mercy, opened my eyes again. Healing is ours. Period.
The Finished Work of Christ
The enemy wants us to beg God for healing as if it’s something He might do. No! It is finished. Jesus already bore our sicknesses. Our job is to stand in faith, refuse the lies of the enemy, and enforce the victory Christ won for us.
So I say it again, don’t believe the symptoms. Stand on the sure foundation of God’s Word. By Jesus’ stripes, your child was healed (1 Peter 2:24). It’s done. Receive it.
Raise your hands and praise the Lord. He is faithful! Amen!
