And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
ROMANS 12:2
By the renewing of your mind. We need to see, hear, touch, and feed on the Word for ourselves. It’s not enough long-term to only be fed by our pastors. The Word is life to our bodies and health too.
Plus, can we truly always trust every teacher of the Word to deliver it to us without filtering it through their own faith limitations or denominational, man made doctrines?
A little at a time. Even a few lines at a time…seek the Lord and seek Him in His Word to have your mind renewed.
I’ve been a working single mom since my son was 5 weeks old (horrible but no choice at the time), so I understand massive time constraints, but some is better than none.
Prayer
Lord, teach us to seek You and Your truth no matter what, so we our minds are renewed and we can continually take in life – Your Word.
