Jesus Wasn’t “Nice” – Christians Mustn’t Be Nice Beyond Wisdom and Effectiveness for His Kingdom

lion 2 Jesus was not nice

The Holy Spirit said to me recently, “Jesus wasn’t nice”, so I looked it up and came across this excellent post….

Jesus Was Not Nice — and You Shouldn’t be, Either

Very worth the read especially in you are in a pruning process right now and getting delivered from fear of man or man’s opinion and want to say ALL He’d have you say whether people think it is “nice” or not.

Then the Lord said to me a little later, “Christians Mustn’t Be Nice Beyond Wisdom and Effectiveness for His Kingdom,” and that we can be “nice to the point of being naive.”

And when we do say what He’d have us say, all we can do after is leave the lost to the Lord and pray for them and keep loving them as He does with us. It has taken time for Him to get me to see things about myself that He was trying to show me. I just didn’t get it but He got me there, so I could repent, not in condemnation but in love because He shows us “us” so we can live our best lives and fulfill His plans for our lives.

We can trust the Holy Spirit to water the words He uses us to bring forth, and we know we wage not against flesh and blood, and there is always a battle for the soul of each person we share the Lord with. So we pray, pray, pray.

Prayer

Lord, that each of Your children do the work You’ve called them to do even if it means not being “nice” because You’d rather not the death of a sinner. We trust that with obedience to the Holy Spirit, fervent prayer, and your anointing on our words that You will be with us working in the hearts of the people with whom we share Your truth. Help us to share Your gospel boldly and unedited so we are effective for the winning of souls and to heal the sick and raise the dead, so we are wise in the way You called us to be wise in You, Your Word, and by Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, amen.
