You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.

ISAIAH 26:3

God’s Word says we can live in perfect peace because our mind is fixed on Him, because we trust in Him.

This means and entails….

He IS His Word (John 1:1; 14), so we fix our mind on it alone in every situation. As His children, we are called to be in the daily, regular process of getting to know His Word more and more, allowing it to renew our minds and build our faith. Thus, whatever comes, we can stay in perfect peace because we are able to take Him for His Word above what we see.

We can come to a place where we know His Word well enough to apply it to every circumstance because we have quick access to it as it’s become rooted in our hearts and minds. We don’t have to be anxious for anything or shaking in our Holy Spirit filled bodies every time something is thrown our way if we know our Father through His Word and choose to commune with His Spirit.

Over the past nearly two years, the Lord, through His Word, has deeply rooted in me what He says about healing, but lately, I have been stressing about a “seeming” threat to my finances. The other day, I said, “Enough, this is not Your will, Lord,” then, I stirred up the Word within me and spoke it out loud and said this is what the truth is and that He is my Source and that He will supply all the needs of me and my son according to His riches and glory [Philippians 4:19]. Period. Amen. He cannot lie.

So, I will continue to apply His Word, believing and not doubting, regarding this situation until all the “wobbliness” to my faith about it is gone, knowing all will be well. This doesn’t mean I do nothing in the natural but that I pray about it all so He leads me and I stay Spirit led about it every step of the way.
