“Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”
JOHN 11:40
Jesus bore the brutal stripes of healing for your child afflicted with autism. But we must believe His report in order to receive. We had to confess Jesus as Lord in order to be saved by faith as we aren’t automatically saved. It’s the same with the promises of God, with everything Jesus purchased with His blood through the atonement. They must be received by faith through believing prayers and spiritual warfare. E.g. In the name of Jesus, autism be removed and cast into the abyss.
The Lord asks each of us today as well, “Did I not say to you if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”
We can put our faith in man’s report – autism is incurable – or in the Lord’s who cannot lie…
By Jesus’ stripes your child WAS healed.
We can magnify what man says – normalize and accept sickness and disease – or line up our faith with what God says in Psalm 107:20, “He sent His Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”
And we know who the Word is (John 1:1; 14): Jesus, the Christ, the Son of the Living God who ALREADY came and finished His Father’s work so that we were healed. Only believe. Receive it by faith. We can ask for help with any unbelief. God will help us.
He’s calling His children to take Him for His Word, pray believing, so we may receive and our joy may be full.
So which will it be? What will His people put their faith in?
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly,” (John 10:10).
Will they normalize and accept the thief’s work in their lives (sickness) or take Him for His Word, be healed, and have life and have it more abundantly?
The Lord desires the latter for all His children, but He won’t violate one’s free will to reject His will and Word or choose to believe satan’s plans for their lives over His.
Lord, may every way the devil has people blinded regarding healing, sickness, and disease, be removed and cast into the abyss in Jesus’ name, amen.
