And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. – Matthew 10:7-8, a command from Jesus Christ

A commenter recently said regarding one of my videos…

“Blaming God for putting autism on our children.” This is a channel by an ableist for parents who struggle to cope with their children’s diagnosis and disability needs. You don’t need to blame God for anything.

If a child was born missing legs would you pray for God to grow their legs back? Obviously not.

Just because autism is invisible doesn’t make it less real. We as autistic christians don’t need you to pray away our neurology. We need you to try to understand us and HELP US. It isn’t the autism that’s disabling, its YOUR refusal to accept and accommodate the autism.” – commenter on YouTube

  1. If a child was born missing legs, YES, YES, we WOULD ABSOLUTELY pray for God to grow their legs back.
  2. I have know idea what “ableist” means, but it sounds like something satan would deceive someone into embracing so he can rob people of Christ’s healing and blind them to the FACT that Jesus healed those who were born disabled and who had all types of disabilities (1 Peter 2:24).
  3. Jesus healed every kind of sickness, disease, disorder, disability, EVEN in the person was BORN disabled. So I opt for God’s will on the matter. Thank You, Jesus!

The church is NOT called to accommodate the enemy’s attacks on a child’s health like arrested development or disorders that hold a child’s mind and voice captive.

No, we are COMMANDED by God to heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead, and of course preach Christ. To preach otherwise is direct disobedience against a command of God.

A Man Born Disabled Healed by Jesus

Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God. 10 Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. – Acts 3:1-10

A Man Who Was Crippled from His Mother’s Womb Healed by Jesus

And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked. This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, said with a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked. – Acts 14:8-10

A Man Blind from Birth Healed by Jesus

Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing. – John 9:1-7

Since Jesus healed those who were born disabled and anyone with every kind of sickness, disease, and disorder, torments, etc. Therefore, so should we in His name and authority.

Jesus never bowed to the cultural traditions and ideologies of man. He served the Father and did the Father’s will: healed those who were disabled. Hallelujah!

Thanks D.R warring for your articles. Jesus heals all, every time , every disease. He healed them all is one of my favorite sentence in the Bible, which is mentioned more than 17 times.

He Healed Them ALL

“Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner,” (John 5:19).

Jesus only did what He saw the Father do, so He healed every kind of sickness and every kind of disease, every kind of disability, even if they were born that way.
