Autism Healing and Deliverance

A parent recently asked me if I believe autism spectrum disorder is an attack against this generation to stop prophetic voices. The answer is an emphatic YES!

The epidemic levels of autism spectrum disorder are no coincidence. That thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10), and one of his most wicked strategies is silencing voices and holding minds captive so they cannot be used by God.

As I wrote in my book “Autism is Not God’s Will for Your Child”:

Children robbed of their God-given power to say is a valuable spoil to the kingdom of darkness, holding voices captive, keeping them from unleashing ‘the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God,’ (Ephesians 6:17)…A child’s God-ordained power to say is of utmost importance to our good Heavenly Father. It’s a spoil He desires every parent recover in full for their child through prayers of faith in His Word and taking authority over all the power of the devil.  

As I wrote in book 1 of my series, children robbed of their God-given “power to say” is a valuable spoil to the kingdom of darkness. Why? Because the Word spoke in faith destroys the works of the devil and releases God’s will on earth as it is in Heaven. When minds and voices are held captive, they cannot wield this powerful spiritual weapon.

The Word tells us God’s will is to “pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy” (Joel 2:28; Acts 2:17). The enemy knows this. He understands that God intends to use ALL people – young and old, male and female – to speak forth His truth. So he works through wicked people to unleash destruction that causes autism spectrum disorder, whether through physical means (toxic exposures, heavy metals, inflammation) or spiritual oppression.

His goal? To keep as many as possible in a state of arrested development, silenced and unable to fulfill God’s purposes. To prevent them from having families, ending bloodlines that could carry forth God’s purposes. To stop a generation from declaring “the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9).

But glory to God, Jesus already paid for total restoration through His finished work on the cross. What the enemy means for evil, God will turn for good. Every voice the devil tries to silence, God can and will restore for His glory when we stand in faith on His Word.

Parents, continue to war in the Spirit for your children’s complete healing and deliverance. The enemy may have targeted this generation, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Take heart – God’s purposes will prevail as we pray and believe for every captive voice to be set free and their “power to say” be fully restored in Jesus’ name.
