Description of the Testimony Video

This two‑part testimony follows the incredible healing of Nikki Oshinski (now Weller), a young woman whose life was completely overtaken by sickness after a traumatic car accident. Over the years her condition grew worse until she was bedridden, unable to walk, feed herself, or function without constant care. Her parents and siblings became her caregivers, living under the weight of fear, exhaustion, and the relentless demands of her illness.

Everything changed the day Andrew Wommack came to pray a prayer of faith for her in Jesus Christ’s name. What happened next was nothing short of miraculous. Pain left instantly, strength returned to her body, and she stood up and walked for the first time in years. The testimony goes on to show how her life was restored and how her healing continues to impact countless people today which glorifies God.

My Reflection

One of the things that stands out so strongly in Nikki’s story is how sickness doesn’t just attack the person who is sick, it also holds entire families captive. You can see it clearly in the way her parents lived on constant alert, unable to leave the house for long, always rushing back to meet her needs. They loved her deeply, of course, but the condition itself became a kind of prison for everyone involved. Her body was bound, but so were their daily lives, their time, their freedom, and their peace.

When Jesus sets a child free, He sets the whole household free. When Nikki was healed, it wasn’t just her body that was restored. Her family was set free too! The purposes and plans the enemy stole from all of them were restored by our Good Father.

Sickness is not anyone’s calling. It’s not a purpose, not a ministry, and not God’s plan for a child or for their family. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. He came to set captives free!

You never see Jesus tell a parent, “No, I won’t heal your child. It’s My will for them to suffer, and it’s My will for you to spend your life serving sickness.” That’s not the Jesus of Scripture. That’s not the heart of the Father.

Somewhere along the way, religion and false teaching crept into the church (as inspired by the evil one), contradicting the very Word of God, contradicting the Jesus we see in the Bible, the only One who perfectly reveals the Father.

Jesus said, “If you’ve seen Me, you’ve seen the Father.” And what do we see Him do? Heal every sickness, every disease, every disorder. Birth defects, lifelong conditions, sudden illnesses. Everyone who came to Him, everyone who followed Him, He healed.

God and His Word haven’t changed. It is God’s will for your child to be made well. It is God’s will for your entire family to be set free from the captivity that ASD/sickness brings.
