Remember who you are

I LOVE the song below, Sound the Bugle, from the children’s movie, Spirit – Stallion of the Cimarron. The Lord used it to speak to me recently. He will highlight things, words, or things people say to us, and we will KNOW THAT WE KNOW that He is using them as a vessels (most of the time unbeknownst to them) to deliver a right on time, much needed message.

I needed to be reminded of who I am in Him, we all do, and often, when things get tough, and the Lord was faithful to use the words from this song, highlighting them with that ‘know that you know’ that He gives us by His Spirit, to speak to me.

From Sound the Bugle (credit Bryan Adams)

“Then from on high
Somewhere in the distance
There’s a voice that calls, “Remember who you are”
If you lose yourself, your courage soon will follow
So be strong tonight…
Remember who you are
Yeah you’re a soldier now,
Fighting in a battle
To be free once more
Yeah, that’s worth fighting for!”
*****
Keep praying. Keep fighting with faith and prayer (and however He leads in the natural).

Don’t lay down and die. Don’t let the enemy rejoice over you and yours.

Remember who you are.

You’re daughters and sons of THE King of kings and Lord of lords!

The battle is real. Press on warriors. With Him you’re going to make it.
