Autism Healing and Deliverance

When we approach our Heavenly Father to pray for healing from attention deficits, hyperactivity and impulsivity in autism spectrum disorder, we come with complete assurance, NOT as beggars hoping to change His mind. We stand firmly on His Word that “if we ask anything according to His will, we know that we have what we ask of Him” (1 John 5:14-15). The finished work of Jesus Christ has already secured our children’s healing from every symptom – including the inability to focus, hyperactivity, and impulsive behaviors.

Jesus Christ perfectly revealed the Father’s will and nature. Throughout His earthly ministry, He healed ALL who came to Him, never turning anyone away. He demonstrated God’s unchanging will – complete healing and restoration for His children. Where there is chaos and disorder in the mind and body, His will is divine order and peace. Where there is an inability to focus and remain calm, His will is clarity and soundness of mind.

Let’s pray this prayer (from Head to toe Healing from Autism) with unwavering faith, expecting – not merely hoping – to receive what Christ has already purchased:

Attention, Hyperactivity and Impulsivity

Pour, Petition, and Praise

Father,

I pray for my precious (child’s name) and boldly ask You to bring his/her focus and attention into balance. My child’s daily struggles with attention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity greatly affect him/her, his/her quality of life and ability to have peaceful relationships. He’s/she’s often filled with great pain and false guilt afterword from behaviors resulting from these afflictions. This has greatly affected his/her identity despite my loving words of assurance.

Not by might nor by power but by Your Holy Spirit [Zechariah 4:6] cause him/her to focus appropriately and balanced in every circumstance. Calm the storms [Mark 4:39] of hyperactivity and impulsivity according to what’s appropriate for his/her age range and including for his/her safety and protection. 

Give my child an “unusual aptitude for understanding every aspect of literature and wisdom” [Daniel 1:17] according to Your plans and purposes for his/her life.

I thank You that it’s Your will to heal, and Your Word says if I ask anything according to Your will that I have what I asked of You [1 John 5:14-15].

I love You and thank You for being full of love, mercy, and compassion. I trust in Your Word in Jesus’ name, amen.

Retake the Land

We can pray these words with holy boldness and authority because we know they align perfectly with God’s will. Jesus came to “set the captives free” (Luke 4:18) – and that includes freedom from every symptom affecting attention, activity levels and impulse control in autism spectrum disorder. Our Good Father never intended His children to live bound by these symptoms. Through the power of prayer and the finished work of Christ, total healing and restoration are not just possible – they are our blood-bought inheritance.

Stand firm on God’s promises today. Pray expecting breakthrough. Your child was healed by Jesus’ stripes, and every symptom affecting focus, activity and impulse control must bow to the name of Jesus Christ.
