Here’s another clip of Deborah McDermott’s son, Timothy, who was totally healed and delivered from autism spectrum disorder several years ago. In this clip, he plays God. He’s the one dressed in white and standing next to young David when he went up against the defeated Goliath.
Disorder means chaos.
God loosed Timothy and his brother from the chaos and chains of satan (Acts 10:38; Luke 13:16; John 10:10) into His peace and order. Not just for His glory but because He is love and He laid His life down for all of us to be set free likewise – saved, healed, and delivered. It doesn’t mean we don’t get sick, but if we do, He made a way for us to be set free.
“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil,” (1 John 3:8).
The Word says ALL sickness is a curse and of the devil (Deuteronomy 28; Acts 10:38; Luke 13:16) with its root cause of sin from the fall. Therefore, no sickness that God deems of the devil and rooted in sin can be considered good or a blessing.
E.g. When Jesus saw the woman bound for 18 years with a crippling spirit of infirmity, He could literally see the demon binding her into her painful, tormenting condition. He didn’t say, “Look at the blessing of a demon on her body holding her captive.”
NO! He loosed her from that foul spirit imprisoning her and holding her back from His purposes and plans for her life.
The only ones around Jesus who didn’t like to see people healed from sickness, disease, and torment were the religious, self-righteous, punishment-minded Pharisees.
Healing is not earned by our goodness or works, it’s a FREE gift paid in full by Jesus Christ just like salvation. Glory to the Lamb of God!
