I just started reading the book, Bodily Healing and the Atonement by T.J. McCrossan, the other day. So good! It is so rich and beautifully glorifies the Lord by further confirming the perfection of His Word.

Though I have already been convinced by the Word of God that Jesus paid for our sins and took all our sicknesses in the atonement (His finished work), I love studying the Word and diving deeper with the Lord. These resources are REALLY feeding my hunger for more of Him and His Word. Thank You, Lord!

In McCrossan’s book, the original Greek and Hebrew meanings and correctly expressed grammatical tenses shown in it help bring forth the indisputable truth for anyone still doubting that healing is included in Christ’s atonement. Let God be true and every man a liar, the Word says. Hallelujah!

Excerpt from the book, “This book proves conclusively from the Hebrew and Greek scriptures that Christ died for our sicknesses, as He died for our sins, and meets fully from the Word every reasonable objection.”

And…“Reader, one of the outstanding reasons why so many of God’s people are not healed is because they do not fully understand the attitude of God toward sickness. So many people waver in their faith because they have heard, expounded from the pulpit, that it is God’s will for them to be sick.”

Disturbing…“it is God’s will for them to be sick”…Those words are against Jesus and are literal evil coming from pulpits! (Hebrews 3:12). How the Lord must grieve every time one of His own attacks His Son’s healing, allowing themselves to be used by the devil as one of his “tag team partners” to keep people captive to his sickness (oppression, captivity, imprisonment, Acts 10:38).

Precisely why I frequently warn people on my podcast that they can be deceived (and a great many are) by what comes from pulpits. I was in the past because I failed to be like the Bereans to double check what they were teaching me. Therefore out of love, I will continue to speak plainly and warn others of this possibility.

Truly, to have even one negative word to say against divine healing and the truth of God’s will regarding it is a direct attack upon Jesus Christ – yes, even one word. His truth regarding His healing work is so deeply rooted into my heart, that’s the only way I am able to see it now.

I’m also being extremely blessed reading The New Testament: An Expanded Translation Paperback – October 12, 1994 by Kenneth S. Wuest (got it from Amazon as well).

Reading these resources simultaneously – one the NT of His Holy Word – is stoking a greater fire in my bones to passionately share that Jesus took autism spectrum disorder for your child as well as all manner of sickness and disease. Glory to God alone!

“Who Himself carried up to the Cross our sins in His body and offered Himself there as on an altar, doing this in order that we, having died with respect to our sins, might live with respect to righteousness, by means of whose bleeding stripe [the word “stripe” is in the singular here; a picture of our Lord’s back after the scourging, one mass of raw, quivering flesh with no skin remaining, trickling with blood] you were healed.“

…as compared to 1 Peter 2:24 (NKJV)…
